Photos Duplicate Cleaner is a useful application that helps you regain valuable disk space by removing duplicate images and videos. This way, your computer runs faster and your work is more efficient.

The program opens with a simple and user-friendly interface. You have the ability to add individual images and videos, your photo library, and the entire folders of files. Once the files have been imported, the next logical step is to enable the scan process. However, before starting this operation, it is advisable to enter the Preferences menu, since the application provides you with handy filters that will narrow the search. The criteria refer to the minimum file size and to specific file types to exclude from scanning.

In addition, the program provides you with an auto-mark option that will select automatically the files to delete. The auto-selection is based on specific rules which you can prioritize by dragging them up or down the list. Furthermore, the tool allows you to manage the folders and the sub-folders to be skipped from scanning. If the drive or a large directory you've selected for scanning contains folders and sub-folders you wish to exclude, you can add them into the Exclusion panel in order to save time when searching for duplicates. The moment the scan is over, you have the chance to preview the results. All files' and their duplicates’ metadata can be checked for comparison so that you can make the best decision when removing specific items. more
