PhotoFramer

PhotoFramer is a program that makes unique photo collages out of your personal collection of pictures.

The program helps you keep memories of the past and share them with your relatives and friends. This can be done easily by uploading your creations to social sharing websites directly from within the application.

The interface is neat and intuitive, providing the main functions right at hand, so that you can access them quickly. You are able to add up to 10 images to a collage. The number of files will depend on the template you decide to use. The image loading is done easily, either by drag-and-drop or by clicking on each template area. Once the photos are added, you can zoom in or zoom out the images, as well as rotate the pictures to best fit within the project.

What's great about this program is that it lets you edit each photo separately. Thus, the utility allows you to change the intensity of colors, as well as to turn the pictures into black and white for an exquisite collage appearance. You can add borders to your photos, adjustable in terms of width and color. In addition, you are able to round the frame's corners, and thus get rid of a rather cold and angular collage aspect. Furthermore, you have the ability to change the background color and choose the one you like most. Unfortunately, the app doesn't support using an image as background. Yet, if you want to leave a written message upon your project, the program allows you to add a text watermark.

The moment the editing process is ended, you can save the project to a specific computer location, share it to social websites, or send it to a printer. However, I didn't like that you can't continue editing an already-saved collage. Thus, once the session is closed, you can't perform further adjustments to your project.

The application is nice and easy to use, though unstable. To my displeasure, the program suddenly closed a couple of times, without being able to save the project at an intermediary stage. The only solution left was to start the collage from the very beginning.
