Layout Sidebar

Frame:
The frame section allows you to control the position and size of each element on the page including origin, size, and rotation. Normally, you would control the position and size using the mouse directly on the layout or frame, but these controls allow you to specify exact measurements.
Content:
The content section applies only to image frames. It allows you to control the image within the frame. Again, mouse controls are available that allow you to perform these operations in a more natural way, but these controls allow you to fine tune the image placement.
Border:
The border section allows you to specify the type of border to be shown. For a border to be visible, there are two fields that must be filled in. You must check the "Border" checkbox and fill in the border "Width" field. You can also specify a corner radius and a border color.
You can also specify a texture for the border. You can select a texture for the border through the texture popup menu. If you check the "Blend color" checkbox, the hue and saturation sliders will become active. You can use the sliders to change the color of the texture. Use the hue slider to change the color and the saturation slider to change the intensity of the color.
You can also add a shadow. Select the shadow type through the "Shadow" pop-up menu and then set a width and color for the shadow.
You may also save your border settings as a preset. You can use this preset over and over within your documents. To create a border preset, create a border on a frame or layer and then select “Border Presets > Create Border Preset…” from the contextual item menu. You can access your saved border presets through the “Border Presets” menu item in the contextual item menu. See the Border Presets help page for more information.
