Photo Cleaner is a simple application designed to help you identify duplicate and similar image files. This way, you will be able to detect photo duplicates that take valuable computer space and slow down your system's performance.
With a straightforward and intuitive interface, the program is very easy to use. The features are placed right there at hand on the main window so that you won't need to search for hidden options or configure complex settings. Therefore, you just need to select the folders you wish to scan simply by browsing your computer from within the application. What is good about this tool is that you can add as many folders as you wish, since you don't have a limitation on importing a certain number of folders. Next, you can enable the scan process and let the utility compare the files within the selected folders. The embedded search algorithms are hidden from the users' eyes, so you just need to trust the application to provide the proper criteria for finding duplicates accurately. While the scan process is in progress, you will see the duplicates identified in real time. They are displayed as thumbnails, which support being enlarged or reduced by means of a handy slide bar. For a better image view, you can double-click on a selected photo in order to see it in full size. Unfortunately, the program neither provides photo details – like size, resolution, creation date, etc., to help you decide which duplicate item to delete – nor lets you clean similar photos. more
