This utility was created to help you restore lost or deleted iOS device data directly from your Mac computer. PhoneRescue for iOS is compatible with various iPhone, iPad, and iPod models, helps you recover multiple types of files, and features a very intuitive interface.
The program lets you choose between 3 recovery modes: from an iCloud backup file, directly from an iOS gadget that's being connected to your Mac or from an iTunes backup file. It enables you to select the types of files you want to find and restore, the destination folder for the recovered data, and the output formats for the restored files.
In my testing, I imported a local iTunes backup file to restore the lost iOS data. I selected a couple of file types for the scanning process, such as App Photos, Reminders, Safari Bookmarks, and Voice Memos. The utility took a small amount of time to scan the loaded iTunes backup file and allowed me to preview the found files. However, I wasn't able to restore any data as I was using the trial version of the tool.
A feature that's missing from this program is the ability to pause and resume the scanning process. Also, you don't have access to an option to save scan results for later.
Still, PhoneRescue for iOS might prove to be a great addition to your collection of Mac programs, especially if you're dealing with data loss on your Apple gadgets. It's efficient, easy-to-use, and affordable.
Scans your hard drives (internal/external) and recovers the deleted videos.
