PDFCombo is a program that integrates multiple functionalities with the purpose of combining several PDF files and performing various actions.
PDFCombo can be used in many ways, to suffice different needs. It includes an option that allows users to print PDFs from an app or to print various articles from the browser's reading view into PDFCombo.
Additionally, you are able to combine Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents and create a PDF file with a table of contents located in the sidebar. If you want to create combined PDF and maintain the PDF opened in the default PDF reader, you can use the Option CMD S shortcut.
Overall, PDFCombo is a simple but useful tool for combining PDF documents and creating tables of contents. It does, however, lack documentation and it may crash sometimes.
Pros
- Prints articles from the browser
- Has a Option CMD S shortcut
- Creates a table of contents
Cons
- May crash at times
- Has no tabs
- Lacks documentation
I really like the speed and simplicity of this app. I need to combine several Word docs that have been converted to PDF (Word's Insert File wreaks havoc on the complicated formatting of the files, and the conversion to PDF creates bookmarks) into a massive 1000+ page PDF without losing the created bookmarks. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because for some reason # in link URLs are being converted to %23.
