PDF Merger Pro helps you combine various source PDF files into a new one. Likewise, it helps you mix alternate pages from various documents or append pages to an existing one. The tool supports importing not only PDF files but also a wide array of image files, such as TIFF, BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, PSD and WMF. Thus, it can be used to create a new document from a series of scanned pages.

The application has a straightforward interface that perfectly matches its workflow. Like many other similar tools, you should start by creating a list of the source files. Fortunately, dragging and dropping files and even entire folders is supported. At this point, you should arrange them in the order you want their pages to appear in the resulting document.

Luckily, there are various merge methods. By default, all of the pages in the source document are imported. Moreover, there are other methods, called Part, Mix, Mix Reverse and Repeat, which are used to control the selection of pages to import as well as the way they are merged.

All in all, PDF Merger Pro is an excellent choice for merging various source documents and pictures into a single output PDF file. Although it is a very affordable option, this tool does not support other convenient features, particularly, the possibility of applying OCR to scanned pages. The product can be purchased from the Mac Store.
