Painnt lets you create works of art from common photographs. The tool has an easy-to-use interface. Luckily, it supports importing pictures using drag-and-drop operations. Then, you can pick one of more than 2000 filters available. In this respect, these filters allow “faking” multiple artistic styles to create painting, sketches and mosaics.

The tool can convert practically any photograph into something looking like a piece of art. However, the results are logically much better when the source picture has its own artistic value. It can import images from various sources, such as social networks and cloud storage. Luckily, you can try various filters until you find what you expect. Moreover, it is possible to tweak the effect a little further and preview the results. Thus, depending on the filter chosen, you can customize such parameters as transparency, contrast and brightness.

The combination of a good source photograph, good taste and a little patience for experimenting with filters is likely to produce beautiful paintings. Unfortunately, unlike other similar tools, it cannot process video. Likewise, it does not let you create new filters.

All in all, Painnt processes photographs with filters to create astonishing effects that simulate the works of art by famous painters. Luckily, it is available for all types of users. A demo of this app can be downloaded and tried at no cost. Although it can be used indefinitely, it does not allow processing batches of pictures or exporting to HD formats. Besides, it leaves a watermark on the image. These limitations can be eliminated by upgrading to the full version, available as an in-app purchase.

They do not support the app. I paid for it and I am unable to use it. Emails and messages go unananswered. Horrible experience.
