Numerati is an original puzzle game in which your aim is to mark chains of numbers to eliminate them from the board. A valid chain can consist of such numbers as 1,2,3, or any other sequence of numbers, even numbers, for instance (2,4,6), or chains of the same number (4,4,4), or any other chain you can revise. The chains must have at least three numbers and they have to be formed with adjacent numbers which can be built in line, or form L-shaped or square-shaped figures. To mark a chain, you simply have to click on the first number, drag the mouse over the chain, and release it on the last number. If the chain is valid, the numbers will disappear from the board. If not, nothing will happen. Moreover, if it takes you too long to find a chain, new numbers will fall to the board. There are no hints, but if you can't find a chain for a quite a long time, a chain will be marked for you discretely.
With every chain you make, you make points and you continue playing until the board gets completely full. When that happens, the game is over. As you advance in levels, more numbers will appear, so you can create more combinations. The longer the chains are, the more points you get. There are also certain numbers that can multiply your points if you make a chain with them. The game features nice graphics, simple sounds, but, sadly, no music.
In short, if you are looking for an enjoyable and challenging game to pass the time, Numerati can be a good choice.
