Notifier Pro for Gmail allows you to check and access your Gmail accounts from the menu bar. You can open your inbox and e-mails in your default browser. The pleasant sound notification will let you know if you've got a new email. If you get an undesirable email, you can quickly delete it from the status bar. Your passwords are stored in the keychain, and SSL connections.
