NoteBox is a note-taking application that lets you sync notes with iCloud. This is a relatively new application that will have an iOS counterpart soon.
The first time that you run it, you will need to create your first notebox. All the notes that you add will be stored here. You can add as many noteboxes as you want. You can add new notes by clicking on the "+" button in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Each note file will include your note, any number of tags that will make it easier for you to find notes later, and you can even attach a file. You can edit the color and font used in your notes. You can click on the "Share" button to enable iCloud syncing. There is a search feature that you can use to search for individual notes within your noteboxes. That and the support for tags make it hard for you to ever miss a note.
In short, the concept behind this app is very nice. I hope that the iOS version of this app will be released soon so I can test this more thoroughly. For now, I can say that this is a nice and simple standalone note-taking application that works very well.
Pros
- Simple and efficient interface
- Search feature
Cons
- iCloud syncing is not really useful unless there is an iOS app to use it with
