Neuroscholar is a knowledge management software application for the neuroscientific community. It strives to provide a general framework for knowledge management and knowledge engineering.

Additional features include the 'proxy' and 'plugin' frameworks. The proxy framework provides external applications access to NeuroScholar's API so that they can use the systems persistence mechanisms.
