NetNewsWire is a free Mac application that allows for reading RSS and Atom feeds from any possible source in a very simple and efficient manner. This tool can come in handy if you want to keep up with all the latest news from any possible domain without having to access all the necessary websites.

NetNewsWire puts at your disposal several already subscribed feeds (like Macworld, Apple Outsider, The Loop, etc.) which you can easily follow with just a few clicks of a mouse. You can also manually subscribe to any desired feed source simply by providing the URL.

In addition to this, NetNewsWire provides you with several actions that you can perform to each RSS or Atom feed. Besides allowing to mark them as read, this applications lets you flag them, mail their links or contents, post the feeds on Weblog or Delicious and send them Instapaper with a simple right click.

NetNewsWire can also help out with following feeds of specific content. This application offers you the possibility to create "Smart Lists" that will contain the feeds that will only match your description. This way, if you are interested in the latest Macbook Pro feeds, for example, you can easily group them all together into a single list with very little effort.

To sum it all up, NetNewsWire is a feature-rich Mac application that is definitely worth a shot if you want an easy and efficient way to read the latest RSS and Atom feeds from any possible source.
