MP3 Art & Tag has been designed to help you organize your music collection. In this regard, the application lets you edit the metadata accompanying your audio tracks, and, as its name suggests, the tool supports working with MP3 files. Although this utility is not hard to use, the availability of a tutorial is welcomed all the same.
The tools interface is quite compact; however, it looks rather messy if you compare it with other similar apps. The workflow is simple: import the desired playlist, modify the tags and save your work.
It is excellent that MP3 Art & Tag seamlessly integrates with iTunes. This means that you can import a single or various playlists directly from your iTunes library. As to editing, the application allows you to do that both manually or automatically. Logically, the latter requires a working Internet connection. You can modify any metadata, including track number, title, album and artist. Likewise, it is possible to download artwork. Moreover, it lets you extract existing covers to separate image files.
To conclude, MP3 Art & Tag saves you a lot of work and effort while you are tagging your music library. I regret to say, however, that the automatic mode not always does a good job. In this regard, there are several complaints about the app causing a big mess with the tags. The product can be purchased from the Mac Store at a reasonable price.
