Monosnap is a screen capture tool for Mac that comes in handy whenever you need to record game walkthroughs, save an offline copy of a certain webpage, or make a video tutorial for software. This application comes with easy-to-set recording options, allows you to define global hotkeys, and lets you share the results with friends from Facebook or Twitter.
You can take snapshots of the entire screen or a certain portion of it, record video tutorials at any desired resolution, make selfies, and much more. I like the fact that after taking screenshots, you have access to various image editing tools that help you annotate the photo or add geometrical shapes.
Similar to previous versions, the app still supports a small amount of output formats (JPEG and PNG for screenshots, MPEG and GIF for videos). Furthermore, you need to make an in-app purchase in order to store files in cloud service.
To sum things up, Monosnap is a simple-to-handle program that provides you with an easy way to record screen activity. Even though it comes with the aforementioned flaws, I still consider this app to be a reliable solution for taking snapshots and making video recordings on your Mac.
Record your screen activity and export the results to various formats.
Capture and save all desktop activities in popular formats with no quality loss.
