It did the job for my 2-minute video after downloading to my laptop OSX 10.9.5. Used the 4x speed and was done in about 4 minutes. Used a DVD-R from a box store.
miDVD Free was installed on my Macbook pro with OS X version 10.10.4 Yosemite.
I tried to burn a DVD of a home movie made by myself. The program seemed to go through all the steps but failed to deliver the burned DVD. I used a blank Maxell DVD+R.
