We apologize for the inconvenience caused, but the problem with the incorrect version displayed in the client is caused by the wrong version number originally used in the configurations by the developer of the application.
I have the same issue. I have the latest version installed (now Version 8.0.9 - Build 25073) and Informer is telling me I have 8.0.25073 and need to upgrade to 8.0.7. Informer is missing the 9 in the version number installed on my Mac.
The current version of this software is 8.0.6 (24869), which I have installed. Informer is detecting incorrectly that I need the update because its version is missing the "6".
