Info updated on:

MenuWeather‪+‬ is a simple application that displays weather information in the menu bar of your Mac. Therefore, you can see at any moment the current weather condition so you can be prepared for your activities outside.

The utility is very easy to configure. Once installed, you are asked if you agree to let the app use your current location. Consequently, it displays temperature information and icon-like weather conditions of your automatically detected location. However, you can set at any moment a custom location of your choice from Preferences. Unfortunately, the tool doesn't support setting multiple locations to see weather details of different locations at the same time. The information is updated at every 60 minutes. For a shorter updating interval, you need to purchase the full version of MenuWeather+. The utility uses the AccuWeather provider as source for the displayed weather data. You don't have the ability to change it so you remain stick with it whether you like it or not.

To conclude, the application offers basic weather information of a set location. The features of the free version are rather scarce. Data related to wind speed and humidity aren't available unless you upgrade, while pollution information and forecasts for several days are completely missing.
