I downloaded and installed MenuBells. But I can't get it to work. I double-click on it but nothing happens. I tried to move it to the trash but was told it was open. But I can't find any solution to close it. It doesn't show up in my top menu.

To access the application, click the bell icon on your Finder. It should be next to volume, network, clock, etc. Clicking the icon should open the configuration menu from where you can adjust various settings.
