Media-Info is a simple Mac utility that provides you with detailed information regarding your video and audio files.
All you need to do in order to work with this tool is drag-and-drop the file you wish to analyze over the app's interface and the utility will immediately show its details. The application supports a wide variety of video and audio formats, provides you with two display modes, and lets you export the reports to your local folders.
Another advantage is that the program lets you preview video frames and export them as snapshots to your local directories.
In my testing, I selected files of various formats (MP4, MOV, MTS, ISO, FLV, MP3, OGG, AU, etc.) and the program immediately displayed their correspondent information. The one file format the application failed to scan for details was SWF.
However, I still think it's worth installing this program on your Mac if you ever need to learn more about your video and audio files. Plus, you don't have to pay a buck to use it on your computer.
