Marooned is a nice hidden-object game in which you will explore an island on which you got lost. As you play the game, you will uncover an interesting story of how the main character starts to recover her memory while she finds amazing places on the island. The game offers three hidden-object games, which will appear randomly as you play: Traditional, Grouped, and Phrase. In the Traditional game, you will have to find the objects listed; in the Grouped game, you will have to find the same type of items; and in the Phrase game, you must find the two items that complete the phrase that will help you with the clue.
The objects in the scene are very well camouflaged in the background, so it's really difficult to spot them. If you need help, you can use any of the spears (hints), which will point at the location of an item. However, these hints are limited, but you can collect more as you play by finding the hidden spears. Unfortunately, there are no penalties for random clicking, which is a shame. Every scene has a locked item, which you can unlock by finding the rest of the objects, and there's also a hotspot, which is placed somewhere in the scene, where you must use an object from your inventory. However, at first you must locate the inventory objects to use them later. Unfortunately, the game includes only one mode and it doesn't include trophies. Graphics are nice, sounds are average, and the music is pleasant.
All in all, if you are looking for a nice hidden-object game to pass the time, Marooned may be a good choice.
