OPStellar ,

A little too minimalistic

The app functions properly with Logic and Garageband, but what makes it a puny file size is that it has ONLY THREE MIDI notes, and the velocity is not factored (I, too, would like it to differentiate between clicks and force clicks). The only factors I can tell are note length and trackpad position. Otherwise, it's just kick, snare, and hi-hat. The app has the potential for customization, but lacks the capabilities, currently.
I wouldn't mind the method by which the developer makes these customizations, be it through external plugins, extensions, or simple app updates.
When I saw the app update, I was disappointed that it was just an adaptation for Mojave's dark mode.

Developer Response ,

I hear your feedback and deeply appreciate it. I am working on a version that incorporates the attack velocity of your finger touching the trackpad and sending this through the MIDI output. But we are not allowed to bring this online on the App Store so it will probably come as an additional plugin you will have to download from the internet.

Fantastic app, hope it gets more customizable soon

This is an absolutely fantastic idea - been hoping to find something like this for a while. Would love to see the pad layout more customizable, and definitely the ability to assign the midi notes you want output rather than just the standard kick snare and hat. Also maybe it could be velocity sensitive by detecting clicks and force clicks. Excited to see where this goes - and very convenient and useful already.
