MacScale

MacScale acts as a conduit between many popular shipping scales and your Mac. Weights are sent to your Mac as keystrokes, customizable AppleScripts, spoken text, copied to the clipboard, output to a file, or a combination of any of the aforementioned.

The weight can also be automatically entered in to web pages in Safari. The demo is fully functioning, but imposes a 10 second delay. The original and new versions of the U2 are both supported.
