Mach Weather is a free weather application for your Mac. It can display the current weather conditions in your area from both its dock and menu bar icons.
Changing the default location is very easy. You simply have to go to the menubar icon and click on "Preferences". This will open a window where you can type the name of your city or your zip code if you are in the US. You can also choose between the metric system and the standard system. After your city is found and you select it, you will start seeing weather information about your location. In my case, the 5 day forecast that appears when you click on the menubar was fine, but the current conditions were way, way off. I went to the Weather Channel website, and they didn't have any current conditions data on my city at that moment, so that might have been the problem.
So basically, Mach Weather only shows you the current conditions and the five-day forecast. It can also speak the weather conditions to you by using your Mac's built-in text-to-speech engine. But any other links or buttons you click on will take you to the Weather Channel website.

It is very visual. The application works fast. Even though it is not fully functional, it provides the minimal required information about the weather. The data it can provide is enough for me.
It is useful to have a weather forecast on the desktop of your computer, though the program may not provide correct specific information for some areas (like humidity, etc.). In case you do not need such specifics, the program will do.
