To install MacBroidery Embroidery Lettering Software, you need to right-click on the "macbroidery_installer.pkg" file, then select Open from the menu. This will open a dialog box that will allow you to bypass the unidentified developer warning and open the file.
I own this for about 2 years and still can't manage in getting it on a USB stick. Each time I try to create a name with a design from my library it disappears. I'm up to date on my software and have been in touch with Brother over and over with no help. No one seems to know how to operate the system. I was told it was created in Canada for Brother. Any help on who I can contact to get some answers?

The software is maintained and operated by the Brother USA. That's the place where I have found the application.
The only thing I can recommend is installing the software in compatibility mode if it hasn't been updated to meet the compatibility requirements of newer operating systems. Additionally use Run as Administrator and make sure that there are no applications currently locking the USB flash drive.

You still have to use the Support section of Brother USA to obtain troubleshooting data for their software: http://www.brother-usa.com/Support/?WT.svl=contact#.ViYCZH4rKUk
