Mac Informer updates all the other programs, but it is impossible to update Mac Informer from 0.6.3 to 0.6.4. beta version.

This app is broken under macOS Sierra. Crashes immediately on launch.

This simply works much better than AppFresh, that app constantly made mistakes and it was an app you had to pay for. Mac Informer works well and is easy to use and has NOT made a mistake yet.

The latest version is the best yet.

Half of the apps that need updating receive error messages when I use Mac Informer to download the update. Some instructions from Mac Informer would be useful!

I can't believe Mac Informer has bugs. It is detecting wrong versions installed and wrong update versions. In some cases I have a newer version than suggested to install.
The idea of this app is a good one but it is out of sync so it's not worth using.

Computer: Macbook Pro October 2011
OS: OSX 10.9, Mavericks

Any ideas and help would be appreciated smile smile

0.5.x seems to have been a total rewrite, the detection of installed apps has often been dreadful, keep reporting bad version identifications.
Preferences menu is greyed out.
Many update attempts fail.
Often detects versions as being say 2.0 rather than 2.0.1.
However many developers are known to be idiosyncratic with the final sub-level version numbers
