Lightzone does almost everything, is easy, fast, stable & unlike some others, it's fully Mac native. All Mac functions work with it, including menus, KB shortcuts, etc. It has great manual adjustment controls, but also dozens of presets. Plus, it has excellent masking tools to select regions for adjustment. What's more, it edits JPEG, TIFF & PNG files as well as RAW files. In fact, LightZone is so fast & versatile I use it instead of Apple Preview for most quick image modifications, cropping, etc.
The few functions LightZone doesn't have, like camera profiles & lens-correction, are really best handled by the editing software bundled with each DSLR camera. The Silkypix software that came with my camera does those things, but it only edits my camera's RAW files.
For everything else, LighZone does it all with ease.
