Lexia Reading

Lexia Reading is an educational program that provides a research-proven method for students to acquire the essential reading skills needed to succeed in school and in life.

It provides students guided practice on foundational reading skills, suggesting additional practice for the skills that trouble them and advancing students to higher levels when they succeed.

Lexia Reading provides explicit, systematic, and structured practice on the essential reading skills of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Lexia Early and Primary Reading is designed for ages 4 through 8 (grades pre-K through 4th), with activities built to ensure that students acquire and improve critical pre-reading and basic reading skills. Lexia Strategies for Older Students is specifically designed for older learners (students ages 9 to adult; 4th grade and above), providing extensive practice in everything from basic phonological awareness to advanced word-attack strategies in a mature, focused interface.
