One efficient way to increase your productivity while working on your Mac is by using various macros. For instance, you could use a macro to quickly launch a certain program from your computer or to access a website in your default web browser. However, in order to use a macro, you first need to create it. This is where Keyboard Maestro comes in handy.
Before using Keyboard Maestro on your Mac you first need to grant it access to your system by opening the System Preferences tool, going to Security & Privacy -> Privacy and selecting the Keyboard Maestro item from the Accessibility panel. Then, you can launch the utility and start managing your macros.
You can define as many macros as you like, import or export them to your local directories, and sync them with your other Macs. Furthermore, the utility is also packed with a built-in clipboard manager, helps you keep track of the tools that are currently running on your Mac, and so much more.
The program is packed with a quick tutorial which teaches you step-by-step how to complete basic tasks in Keyboard Maestro. However, this isn't quite enough, especially if you're new with this type of Mac utilities. So, an integrated help manual to provide you with detailed info about the program and its functions wouldn't hurt.
Other than that, nothing bad can be said about Keyboard Maestro. It's feature-rich, efficient, and affordable.
