The most popular method of uninstalling programs from your Mac is by dragging and dropping the application over the Trash icon from your Dock. Alas, some files related to the utility might still be left behind. iTrash is a program that prevents the aforementioned event from happening and immediately removes all files that are associated with the app you need to uninstall from your computer.
The application provides you with separate lists for all of the installed tools, widgets, PrefPanes, and plugins. You can use the integrated search utility to immediately find the tool you wish to permanently remove from your computer. Also, the program allows you to drag-and-drop the app you need to uninstall over its interface: it immediately reveals a list with all of the files that are associated with the selected tool.
Another important advantage is that iTrash helps you get rid of leftover files (left behind after uninstalling apps incorrectly - for instance, with Trash).
Unfortunately, it might take a while to load the applications list, depending on the amount of programs you have installed on your computer.
In my opinion, it's worth buying iTrash for your Mac if you're looking for an efficient and quick way to uninstall programs.
