This program is designed for Mac users who wish to have access to a taskbar that's similar to Microsoft's Start bar. The utility places a bar on the bottom side of your screen and provides you with a list showing the contents of your Applications folder.
You can also use this program to easily get access to recently used applications, immediately launch folders from your Mac, and much more. iTaskbar uses a very small amount of CPU resources while running on the bottom of your screen (under 2%), provides you with simple-to-configure settings, and displays all running utilities on its bar.
In my testing, the app occasionally ran slow, but only for a few seconds. However, it didn't slow down the performance of my Mac and it immediately launched apps, files, and directories.
My guess is that iTaskbar might prove to be of good use to users who work on both Mac and Windows computers and wish to have similar desktop features (in this case, a Start bar). It also comes in handy to people who need a quick solution for launching apps and open folders with minimum effort.
In conclusion, it's worth buying iTaskbar for your Mac if you need it for the aforementioned reasons. The program is very intuitive, is very simple to configure, and comes with a reasonable price.
