iSuper PDF Converter for Mac is an application which can convert PDF files to TIFF, JPEG, PNG, PowerPoint2007, Text, Word, Excel, EPUB, HTML formats, and more.
With a standard, easy-to-use interface, you can bring a file or an entire folder to convert. Once the list pane is populated, you can select later which PDF document is actually chosen for conversion. The large preview section makes you sure that you have selected the desired file and it confirms the changes made step by step. If you want to convert a part of the document or even one single page, the program gives you this possibility.
In my opinion, this program can be divided into 3 categories of conversion, namely image, documents, and HTML.
Regarding the image output, the program supports the most popular ones, such as TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TGA, PPM, and JPEG2000. You have options to set the compression indicators, the quality and resolution (pixel or DPI) for each format separately. You can also change the color type (grayscale, monochrome, or colorful).
As for document files, you can choose to convert into Text, Word and Excel (97-2003), as well as to Rich Text Format. For this type of conversion, the program provides the OCR function. With reference to this feature, I would advise to select Accuracy, though the conversion time is much extended. Moreover, if the PDF file is written in a different language, you have the possibility to choose among 150 distinctive languages. At the same time, if the file is created for C++, Java etc., the program recognizes this type of language.
This tool can also convert PDFs to HTML and EPUB, where you can set the type of file, namely JPEG and PNG (if the source file contains images) and encoding text.
The program is good; it offers multiple options for conversion so that you can have satisfactory results within a short period of time. Related to the statement on the official page that it can convert to PowerPoint2007, I personally didn’t find the PPT extension. Another aspect that I want to point out is that converting to Word and Excel (97-2003) is rather outdated.
Designed to give you the finest document-formatting tools, Word helps you organize and write your documents more efficiently.
Store, organize and process large quantities of data in spreadsheets.
Converts PDF files to many other document and picture formats.
Converts PDF files to other common document, presentation and picture formats.
Converts PDF documents and images to other formats, with OCR.
