Simply put, iSpeak It is a document to audio converter. It is such a great tool for anyone who wants a text file to be read on either your Mac or a mobile audio playback device.
iSpeak It can convert text files, driving directions, weather forecasts, RSS feeds and even Wikipedia articles. I tested the app with Wikipedia, because I think that listening to Wikipedia articles could be interesting. When you click on the Wikipedia button, a search box pops up, asking what you want to look for. I chose the "Internal combustion engine" and the application downloaded the whole article. Then I tested the speech engine and I found that it wasn't as annoying as I expected it to be. The computer read the article to me and I understood every single word of it. The computer had great diction and it read everything quite clearly.
After that, I converted the file and I found myself listening to the remainder of the article on my iPhone.
In short, iSpeak It is a great, innovative tool that can be used by an array of different users.
