iSortPhoto allows you to rename and organize your digital images. It's difficult to organize digital pictures when they are taken with different cameras by different people.
Every digital camera brand uses different convention for naming the files: as an example, Sony® names the pictures "DSC000xxx", Canon® instead uses "IMG_000xxx".
If the pictures are moved to a PC using a USB Pen Drive or a CD-ROM, they lose the original creation date and, consequently, it's going to be difficult to sort the pictures in chronological order, especially if they were shot by different cameras on the same day.
iSortPhoto is a useful utility that solves these kind of problems quickly and easily. You only need to Drag & Drop your pictures, or a folder containing your pictures, to rename the files with the date and time they were shot. You can also decide to keep the original name as a suffix or add additional words to the file name. Using iSortPhoto you will be able to keep your pictures in chronological order, ready to be used for a presentation or just to be archived for easy retrieval.t's also possible to correct errors made during images shooting if the camera clock was set incorrectly, for example because of change from summer to winter time or vice versa
