iSkysoft SyncPod
iSkysoft SyncPod allows you to transfer files between your Mac and iOS devices.
iSkysoft SyncPod allows you to transfer files between your Mac and iOS devices. The main window is comprised of two panels.
I did my testing of this app with an old iPhone 3G. I use this phone to test all the apps that let you transfer data back or from the phone. In this case, my phone was detected, but it didn't show any content. I know there is stuff on it. I tried disconnecting and unlocking the phone to no avail. When you launch iSkysoft SyncPod you are shown a window that explains that iTunes will open and that you have to close a pop-up to start working with this app, and I did that too.
One thing I didn't like about this app is that it uses an installation wizard and that it requires that you restart your system. To most this might not be a problem, but installation wizards and restarts are things I don't really miss from when I was a Windows user.
Sadly, the app didn't work for me. I see in the screenshots on the developer's website what it should look like when it is working, and it looks like it can help in transferring files back and forth from your device. There are nice features listed on the website. You can download it for free and test it to see if your device is detected and works before purchasing it.
Pros
- It should let you transfer data from and to your Mac
Cons
- I couldn't get it to detect my iPhone 3G or iPad
