iSkysoft PDF Editor Pro is a feature-rich program designed for Mac users who need to create, edit, and convert their PDF documents.

This application might also come in handy to people who wish to share PDF files with Microsoft Word users or edit scanned PDFs with minimum effort.

You can build PDFs by using files of various formats (PNG, PDF, JPG, TIFF, etc.) and make various alterations to the resulted document (add text content, watermarks, geometrical shapes, signatures, etc.). Once you finish editing the file, you can password-protect it to prevent other users from opening or modifying the PDF without your consent.

Another good aspect about this utility is that it also allows you to edit scanned PDF documents. This program supports 17 OCR languages including English, German, French, Italian, and many others.

Furthermore, the application allows you to convert multiple PDFs to various output formats, such as DOCX, XLS, TXT, EPUB, etc. In my testing, the program preserved the original layout of the input files.

Only two things bother me about this Mac utility: it doesn't allow you to select individual output profiles when batch converting PDFs and it's a bit pricey.

All in all, I'd say it's worth acquiring this PDF editing tool only if you intend to use it frequently as it's a bit expensive. Nonetheless, you can find cheaper solutions for altering the contents of your PDF files or convert them to formats compatible with Microsoft Office.
