iSkysoft iPhone Video Converter helps you play video files on your iPhone. It is a multi-format video converter that can open pretty much any popular video format and convert it into MPEG-4 files, which play natively on the iPhone and other mobile playback devices, such as iPods, iPads and a variety of smartphones.
I like the fact that iSkysoft went without an installation wizard for their Mac products. To install this converter, you can simply copy it into the Applications folder or run it from the DMG file. The graphical user interface also looks more like a Mac app than any of the other commercial converters I have recently tried.
In terms of performance, iSkysoft iPhone Video Converter does a very good job of converting video files. In terms of speed, I have to say that it is on par with other solutions on the market, but I don't think it is the fastest. The quality of the converted files is very good.
This app comes with a few basic video editing tools, namely cropping and trimming. Most commercial converters on the Mac don't come with those, and this app is cheaper than most converters, too.
All in all, this is a nice commercial converter. It can only output files to MPEG-4 for video, though.
