Insync is a Google Drive client developed for Mac. With its help, you can easily manage the data you back up to your Google Drive account, share files with other people with just a few clicks, and so much more.
This utility lives on your Menu Bar from where you can change its sync settings. You can choose which files or directories you don't want Insync to back up or download, select the local sync folder, and configure conversion settings if necessary (the app can convert Google Docs data to formats supported by the Microsoft Office tools).
Another important advantage is the fact that it provides you with a quick and simple way to share documents with other people. The program adds an option to your contextual menu (right-click over a file icon to reveal it).
This program proves to be a more reliable Drive client than the one created by the Google company. It allows you to manage multiple accounts, convert Google documents to formats that are compatible with your Mac applications, has an Ignore items list, preserves folder structure, and so much more.
My only issue with this utility is the fact that it lacks an integrated help guide. A beginner computer user would find it difficult to locate the synced data in the app's menu, download it on a Mac, etc.
Briefly, you should try this program if you wish to have access to more features than the Google Drive official client has to offer.
