Edit a recently displayed phrase

Inspire Me keeps track of the last 10 phrases it has displayed. These phrases can be automatically selected in the main window using the menu bar, the Dock, or a system-wide keyboard shortcut.

To display a recently displayed phrase for editing:

Step 1

Select View > Edit Recent Phrase from the menu bar.

The most recently displayed phrase will be displayed in the main window.

Step 2

Select View > Edit Recent Phrase again to display the next most recently displayed phrase in the main window.

Continue selecting View > Edit Recent Phrase until the desired phrase is displayed, or all 10 phrases have been displayed.

To display a recently displayed phrase for editing while in another application:

Step 1

Control-click on the Insire Me icon in the Dock. Select Edit Recent Phrase from the menu.

  - OR -

Type the Edit Recent Phrase hot key you previously set in the Preferences window.

The Inspire Me main window will be brought to the front and the most recently displayed phrase will be selected.

Step 2

Control-click on the Insire Me icon in the Dock and select Edit Recent Phrase again.

  - OR -

Type the Redisplay Phrase hot key again.

Continue until the desired phrase is selected, or all 10 phrases have been selected.
