ImTOO iPhone Video Converter is a multi-format video converter. It allows you to convert videos in pretty much any standard format into MPEG-4 and H.264 formats, both of which can be played natively on the iPhone and a variety of other Apple and non-Apple multimedia devices.
In terms of design, ImTOO iPhone Video Converter still looks a lot like its Windows counterpart. I wish they changed the looks of their apps when they migrate to Mac. The Mac version works fine, and only at times have I seen the user interface lag a bit. In comparison with the Windows version, the feature set of the Mac version is somewhat limited. I don't see a video editor and there is no mention of GPU acceleration, for example.
After testing this app, I can say that it works well. It can convert most files into H.264 and MPEG-4 files. I used an MKV file and an AVI file to test it, and both were converted just fine.
All in all, this converter works well and it supports lots of input formats. However, I wish it had a more Mac-like design and more features. After all, it is $35.95, and there are free tools that can out-perform it.
