ImTOO iPhone Ringtone Maker is an audio editing tool that lets you create ringtones in the M4R format, which is the format used by the iPhone.

The application features a very simple user interface that lets you jump into editing your audio clips right away. Even if you are not familiar with audio editing, you can easily create a ringtone in a few seconds. That is how intuitive this app is.

Once you load a file, the main window will show a graphical representation of your song. You can click on the play button to start playing the song. There are two buttons that you have to use to set the start and end times for your ringtone. Usually, I create 30-second ringtones. I remember my iPhone not letting me add ringtones longer than that. Once you have made your selection, you can play it by clicking on the right-most button. After that, you can add fade in and fade out effects and even boost your volume, which is a nice thing to have, since the iPhone speakers are not very good.

ImTOO iPhone Ringtone Maker can save the files on a folder on your Mac, or add them to iTunes automatically. If it detects an iPhone connected, you can even directly send them to it.

In my testing, I didn't have any problems with this app, and the ringtones that I created with it sounded great.
