img.urls is a simple Mac utility that enables you to easily upload images to the Imgur website. This program also features an integrated tool for taking snapshots, allows you to upload your screenshots to the aforementioned image sharing webpage, and comes without a price tag.
The application comes as an alternative to using your default browser to go to the Imgur website and upload your pictures for others to see. All you need to do in order to upload images from your local folders is to drag-and-drop them over its interface and the program will immediately get the job done.
You can also use img.urls to take snapshots and share them with the world. The app lets you choose from three screen capturing methods: Fullscreen, Window or Selected Area. Unfortunately, the app's missing the ability to define global hotkeys for immediately capturing your screen activity. You need to use the app's menu from your status bar or the options from the main window.
Another thing I didn't like was that there was no option to change the destination folder for the snapshots. Furthermore, the app works with a small amount of image formats. It doesn't let you import popular formats like TIFF or PSD.
To summarize, it's worth installing this app on your Mac only if you don't need it to take snapshots and share them on the Imgur website.
