iKaleid

iKaleid is a simulation of a kaleidoscope to run on Mac OS X as screen saver. It tries to match how I perceive a variety of kaleidoscopes to look like.

It will produce an endless array of patterns and colours and is gentle on your laptop battery. It is very easy-to-install.
