iCleanup is a simple yet helpful application designed for Mac users who wish to find and remove duplicated tracks from their iTunes library. This program provides you with a nicely-designed and user-friendly interface, scans the iTunes playlists within moments, and comes with a comprehensive help guide.
Once you start scanning the music library, iTunes is automatically launched and runs minimized. In my testing, iCleanup took less than one minute to scan the iTunes' records and offered me a list with all found duplicates, unwanted tracks and lost dead songs (removed from local drives, still in your iTunes library).
The app features an option which, once enabled, auto checks the songs that need to be removed from your iTunes library. Also, you can choose between file removing methods (remove unwanted tracks from iTunes library but keep the associated files, delete unwanted tracks and move the associated files to Trash, and delete associated files permanently).
Another good aspect is that you have access to a complete help manual that teaches you how to handle the app.
All in all, iCleanup is a very helpful program that comes in handy to any Mac user who's dealing with a large iTunes library. The application is very simple to handle, immediately offers you the results you need, and comes with a very reasonable price.
