This package attempts to read any.csv, tab-delimited file, or any calendar file in similar format and import it into iCal.

There is considerable flexibility to change parameters, and the program does its best to decide the type of file and fix any suspicious looking entries.
Given the number of different formats that are possible, it will almost certainly not work in every case. The source Applescript studio file is also provided - feel free to "tweak"!

I have used this every year since 2007. It still works on High Sierra! I wish iCal would let us put in a start date and auto calculate the number of years since that date. If you want to see how many years since someone has been born or married, you must use a spreadsheet and export to tab or csv. Then open iCalTextImport and import to a calendar.
