HP Comm Killer has one purpose, it force-quits the HP Communications application which, under versions of 10.2.x and 10.3.x, will "hang" if the PSC (PSC1210 in my case) is turned off or unplugged and then connected/turned on again. Then, when attempting to scan anything, the HP Communications application will hang.
Why do I need it?HP Communications is a "faceless" application; you can't force-quit it from the Finder. You need to dig out the Activity Monitor, find the HP Communications App in the list, click on it and "force-quit" the app. Until HP fixes the problem, HP Comm Killer will Requirements
PPC, Tested in Mac OS X 10.3.4, but it should work down to 10.2.
