Homeland Alert is an application that provides notifications of changes in the Homeland Alert status. It has an "Update Now" option and the current alert level is displayed in the menu. Version 3.6 features an XML-based alert-checking feed instead of screen-scraping a web page, and the code has been optimized for a small speed boost.
