Highway Rally is a racing game where your objective is to beat the target times. The game has nice graphics and animations, gives you access to various challenging tracks, and provides you with plenty of useful instructions.
You will race against a "ghost" car, the vehicle that had the best time for the current race. The better your race time, the higher your score will get. At the end of the race, you will receive cash which you can use to acquire car improvements.
A great thing is that the game automatically saves your progress to your Game Center account (when you sign in to your iCloud account on your Mac, a Game Center account is created for you). So, if you remove the game from your Mac and reinstall it, you will be able to resume gameplay from where you left off.
Sadly, there were a couple of things I didn't like about this racing game. For starters, it took a while to launch on my Mac and I wasn't able to access other tools while the game was running. Another disadvantage is that it doesn't provide you with display settings. For example, you can't toggle windowed mode (you can only play in fullscreen mode).
Still, this game might come in handy while you're on a break from work as a way of distracting you for a bit from your daily chores. Also, the game comes without a price, so you have nothing to lose if you decide to give it a shot.
