GrupaDupa is a capable program developed to help Mac users to find and remove all unnecessary file duplicates within any selected folder.
All you need to do in order to work with this tool is to select the folder you wish to scan for duplicates. If the results window provides you with any file names, you can either send them to Trash or keep them on your drive.
An important advantage of this duplicate finder is that it lets you choose which folders and file types to exclude from the scanning process.
One thing I didn't like during my testing was the fact that the program didn't allow me to select more than one folder for scanning. Furthermore, it would've been a lot easier and quicker to find duplicated documents of a certain format if the app came with a file extension scan filter.
Since you don't have to pay much to use it and it immediately offers you the results you require, I'd say it's worth trying GrupaDupa. This duplicate finder is very simple to use, removes file copies within seconds, and helps you increase free space on your drives.
