This Mac program is a Facebook client designed by the FIPLAB Limited company. Go for Facebook lets you choose between 2 display modes (Desktop and Mobile), is very simple to handle, shows you notifications whenever you get a new message or comment to a post, and much more.
The application comes as an alternative to using your default browser for accessing your Facebook account. It might prove to be of good use to people who wish to stay up-to-date with their Facebook news feeds or easily post new pictures or videos on their personal pages.
You don't need much computer experience in order to handle this program. Just click over its icon from the Menu Bar or Dock and the main window of the utility will be revealed on your desktop. Just log in to your Facebook account and start checking what's new.
An advantage is that you can define a global hotkey for immediately revealing the main window of the program. You also have access to various interface customizations (adjust opacity level, change font style, etc.), multiple notification options, and the ability to keep its main window on top of all running apps from your screen.
The one thing that doesn't seems to work is the ability to resize the main window of the program when using the Desktop view mode. The Mobile view mode lets you change the resolution of the interface.
Still, this app proves to be a reliable solution for checking your Facebook account from your desktop. And most importantly, it's free. So, if you have a Facebook account and wish to stay in touch with what's new on your news feed, you should definitely give this tool a try.
